I'm Tessy. I just joined and am SO EXCITED to get back into kettlebell-ing! I started taking Lacee's classes over the summer (ish) and embarrassingly dropped off after the the office pseudo-opened up, and it got a little too cold to be out on my deck :(
I am going to order a second and hopefully third KB soon! I currently only have one 12 kg, but she has served me quite well! Considering I used a filled up water bottle as a weight before Henrietta came into my life, it's a huge improvement.
My goals with joining Bells Up is to get strong... like REAL-LIFE strong! I used to be very active in my younger years, and stopped, so I want to get back into it. I'm getting older and now is definitely the best time to train. I want to get into a routine, learn the correct way to lift, and wouldn't mind the side-effect of replacing some chubb with muscle. I'm most excited about learning form/the basics to build on that without injury.
My favorite move is probably a basic squat, I'm noooot a huge fan of halos or a KB clean, my frisky move is a KB swing, & my challenge move would either be a TGU or snatch (I don't know how to do either of those).
While I know I'm pretty much starting from scratch, I'm super excited to start.
