With a degree in dietetics and working as a personal trainer since college, Melissa has 15 years of fitness and nutrition experience.
Since the birth of her sons in 2014 and 2018, her business shifted to working with prenatal and postnatal women seeking guidance in safe and effective ways to retain strength for the duration of pregnancy and recovery. She created the postpartum recovery program, the FitFourth, as a means give women quality strength-focused postnatal training (something she found to be missing in the the fitness industry).
Melissa incorporates hard style kettlebell training principles, tools from Ground Force Method, as well as Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization to create specific workouts for personal training clients and programs for Bells Up TV.
She is a former StrongFirst Level 1, 2 and Bodyweight Instructor, a current RKC Level 1 Kettlebell Instructor and New York City’s premier postnatal trainer.
